Let’s collaborate.

Perhaps you’re an established not-for-profit housing provider but could benefit from an independent voice at the table to help you ‘keep on track’. Maybe you have a housing idea, or you’ve moved beyond concept to design and even consent, and need some guidance converting that progress into reality. With a career in urban and economic development spanning over 40 years and a personal interest in improving housing access, affordability and spatial quality outcomes, I can offer hands-on experience and pertinent research and insights on international best practice in housing policy and systems. I would value any practical sector learnings and connections that can help unlock research funding. Reach out to discuss how we can collaborate to realise our mutual affordable housing objectives. A virtual meeting is an easy way to start a conversation — or better still a face-to-face chat over a coffee.

Support my research.

I’m passionate about the potential for a strategic, integrated, pan-political housing policy agenda to achieve improved and socially-diffuse outcomes. My research focus is learning about housing policy and not-for-profit cooperative housing systems from around the world that have produced better access, affordability and spatial quality outcomes and how we can apply those learnings to help drive positive societal change and shape our future housing environments.

I’m researching these issues for a Master of Philosophy at Auckland University of Technology School of Future Environments — as a foundation year for a Doctor of Philosophy research project.
