Improved socially-diffuse housing outcomes.

Founded on my family’s working class roots and a strong sense of social equality, I understand the fundamental importance of affordable housing in local communities. I’ve dedicated the balance of my career to researching housing policy and not-for-profit cooperative housing solutions for those people who are in need. Access to affordable, good quality housing, regardless of social status, is a fundamental part of a well functioning and inclusive society. If you’ve read this far then we’re likely on the same page with our housing objectives. Through collaboration, sharing research and innovation, we can create opportunities for individuals and families to have a place they can proudly call home. Helping to shape our future environments — where affordable housing is not just a dream, or political slogan, but a tangible reality.

Let’s collaborate.

Maybe you’re an existing not-for-profit housing provider. Maybe you have a housing idea or you’ve moved beyond concept to design and even consent, but need some help converting that progress into reality. Maybe you simply need an independent voice at the table to help you ‘keep on track’. With a career in urban and economic development spanning over 40 years and a research focus on improving housing access, affordability and spatial quality outcomes, I can offer hands-on experience and fresh insights on international best practice in housing policy and systems. I would value your practical sector learnings and connections to help unlock research funding. Reach out to discuss how we can collaborate to realise our mutual affordable housing objectives. A virtual meeting is an easy way to start a conversation — or better still a face-to-face chat over a coffee.
